Bowl Kuchl is a bistro for poke bowls and healthy dishes in Schwechat, just outside Vienna. Online, its food and drinks looked less appetising than in person. Maze & Friends from Vienna came to the bistro with a photo and video team and its own light box and produced cut-out shots and image series for social media, the website and print.
Cut-out shots are subjects without a background that can later be used for graphics and promotions. Every photo was given a description with search terms so that guests from the region can find it in search too.
Bowl Kuchl was not yet well enough known in the region. The goal was photos that show the food and drinks as they really are and raise awareness of the new catering service. The Bowl Kuchl team can keep reusing the material.
