Maze & Friends from Vienna makes sure strong brands get found by AI and chosen by humans. The marketing agency brings together brand film and event content, employer branding, personal branding and LinkedIn, AI visibility (GEO), website and tracking, and performance marketing. Manuel Zellnig founded it in 2018, and more than 120 brands have worked with it since. The legal entity is Maze Marketing & IT GmbH, Towerstraße 3, 1300 Vienna Airport (Schwechat), Austria.

Who we are

Manuel Zellnig founded Maze & Friends in Vienna in 2018 and runs the agency as managing director. We work for brands that sell quality: premium brands, industry and mid-sized companies, event and conference organisers, B2B service firms, and experts and founders in the DACH region. Most of them can do more than the outside world sees. Making that visible is our job.

How we work

Strategy, film, website and campaign all come out of the same team. The senior people from your initial call also work on your project, from briefing to report. Together with our specialists in content, design, 3D and web, they steer the delivery. For you, that means one point of contact who sees the whole picture.

Five principles

Business first.

We start with your business, and only then with a camera or an ad. In the briefing, we clarify goal, audience, starting point and the one sentence customers should remember about you. That becomes a plan. Production starts only once you approve it.

Cards on the table.

After the initial call, you get a fixed-price quote with no hidden items. Before we start, we agree on the metrics we will be measured by, and you see the results in regular reports. Accounts, data and usage rights belong to you. We explain the technical terms in those reports briefly in our marketing glossary.

What you stand for.

Before we produce anything, we clarify what you stand for and for whom. That positioning is the template for everything that follows. So every channel tells the same story, and customers recognise you.

A no is advice too.

We tell you when a measure is the wrong tool right now. If the positioning is shaky, it comes before the brand film. If ads are running without clean tracking, we fix the measurement first. We would rather take a smaller job that works than a big one that fizzles out.

Keep building instead of starting over.

Visibility grows when you stick with it. That is why we build on material and data that already exist. Ongoing support has a three-month minimum term and can then be cancelled monthly.
