No label shows well-being. A good photo does.
For the supplement brand VITAmyne, Maze & Friends developed an image concept and split the shoot in two: product photography that shows quality and purity in detail for the online shop, and lifestyle images of people in real everyday situations. Both parts share the same visual language.
VITAmyne offers food supplements for performance and well-being, including products with spermidine. The brand needed professional images for its online shop and marketing channels. Together with VITAmyne, Maze & Friends developed an image concept and split the shoot in two: detailed product images for the shop and staged lifestyle images from everyday life. The result: a clearer online presence and a brand that feels more personal.
Well-being is hard to photograph.
VITAmyne offers food supplements for mental and physical performance, with a focus on spermidine. The brand wants to improve its customers’ well-being in the long term and help them towards a healthier everyday life. That promise needed to be visible online, in the online shop as much as in the marketing channels. Until then, professional product and lifestyle images were missing.
The difficulty lies in the subject itself. In an online shop, one supplement quickly looks like the next, and no label shows what it means in everyday life. So two kinds of images were needed: ones that show quality and purity in detail, and ones that capture people in real everyday situations.

“Is it high quality, and does it fit into my day?”
Two questions every image in the online shop has to answer before anyone buys.
How the project ran.
Every Maze & Friends project runs through the same nine steps, from the initial call to reporting. The list shows what actually happened in this project.
01Alignment and goalWhat should the shop show, and what the brand? Defined together with VITAmyne.
02Image conceptA visual concept for product and quality of life, matched to the online shop and marketing channels.
03Shoot part one: productDetailed product images that show quality and purity. Optimised for the online shop.
04Shoot part two: lifestyleStaged everyday scenes that appeal to the target audience on an emotional level.
05Selection and approvalShots selected, edited and prepared for the shop and marketing channels.
01Initial call02Analysis03Proposal04Briefing05Workshop06Approval07Production08Launch09ReportingTwo parts, one visual language.
Maze & Friends deliberately split the shoot. The first part produced detailed product images that show quality and purity and bring clarity to the online shop. The second part followed with lifestyle shots, carefully staged, of people in real everyday situations. Both parts follow one shared concept, so the shop and the brand look all of a piece.

Product images for the shop
Clear, detailed, free of distraction. The images show the quality and purity of the products and are prepared for the online shop, so customers can see at a glance what they are buying.

Products in real everyday life
The second image world shows the products in everyday life. Carefully staged, so the target audience recognises itself and the brand’s promise becomes tangible: a healthier, more energetic life.

One concept, many channels
Product and lifestyle images follow the same visual language. That way they work in the online shop as well as in the marketing channels, and give the brand a personal face.
What the shoot delivered.

Three things that last.

Splitting creates clarity
Photographing product and lifestyle in two parts keeps the set organised and delivers the right image for every purpose.

The shop sells with images
In an online shop, the product image replaces reaching for the shelf. It has to show quality before anyone reads a word.

People make brands personal
Lifestyle images translate an abstract promise like well-being into scenes in which customers recognise themselves.
